Taurus Season

April 20th marks the first day of Taurus Season! Time to induuuuuulge and reward yourself for how hard you worked during Aries season! Buy that new perfume! Go to that fancy restaurant! Book that spa treatment!

The sign of Taurus is considered to be dependable, loyal, stubborn and focused on material wealth. Taurus is associated with the 2nd House in astrology, which rules our finances, possessions and food. Taurus is ruled by Venus, which represents relationships, love, wealth and money. In short, Venus represents what we VALUE. 

Thus, Taurus season is asking you to focus on that which you value; your finances, your valuables/possessions, but also your own self-worth. 

When people think of Taurus, they often associate the sign with eating, sleeping and lazing around on the couch while binge-watching Netflix. 
But there are deeper questions to ask yourself this season:

• How much do you value yourself?
  
• Do you allow yourself time to rest and relax?
  
• Do you reward yourself when you’ve worked hard or achieved a milestone in your life?
  
• What is your relationship like with food?
  
• What kind of treatment do you permit in your relationships?

On a material level, it’s easy to say Taurus Season is about treating yourself to luxury purchases and experiences, but at a deeper level, this season is asking you to treat yourself the way you deserve to be treated.
