On 27 August, there will be a new moon in Virgo at 4°, which will make an exact square to Mars in Gemini...
New moons indicate new beginnings and with the new moon being in Virgo, a mutable earth sign, it’s highly likely that you will be inclined to prioritise your health, your daily habits/routines and your work life.
What is out of balance in your life?
Generally speaking, Virgos are extremely health conscious and they can be very sensitive to their environment (I should know, I have a Virgo moon!). As a result, this new moon will draw your attention to any area of your life that is out of balance.
Mercury retrograde pre-shadow period
We’re currently in the Mercury retrograde pre-shadow period and Mercury will be spending part of the retrograde in Libra and the second part in Virgo. This means that miscommunications and issues with technology, travel and plans in general are already starting to occur!
New moon square Mars
The new moon is making a tight square to Mars, the planet of action! At best, you will feel motivated and inspired to finally make a long overdue change in an area of your life that is causing you problems, whether they be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. At worst, you may feel pushed or cornered into a making a decision that feels premature for you to make at this point in time.
With this particular new moon, it’s best to get on the front foot & be proactive by taking the necessary steps you need to take now, rather than waiting for some sort of crisis to occur that will spur you into action, anyway!
Things will improve in 2-4 weeks
The ruler of the new moon is Mercury and it’s actually making a helpful trine to Mars, which means that although the first step will be the hardest one to take, once you start you’ll have a lot of momentum and things will continue to get easier and easier over the next 2-4 weeks after the new moon!
