Full Moon in Leo at 5º

​On 25 January there will be a full moon in Leo at 5°. Full moons are all about reaching a culmination point, illumination and releasing what no longer serves us.

The full moon is making a tense opposition to Pluto in Aquarius at 0° and an almost exact square to Jupiter in Taurus at 6°, which is forcing us to confront our fears, insecurities and shadow side in relation to that which Leo rules over.

The shadow side of Leo

The shadow side of Leo is pride, selfishness and obstinacy. Fears and insecurities around feelings of worthiness and not receiving enough attention may be coming up for you right now. On one hand, Pluto’s influence may exacerbate these matters, which can also elicit feelings of jealousy or possessiveness.

On the other hand, Pluto rules over transformation, deep healing, intimacy and psychology, which means that you can transmute any negative energy into a higher vibrational form.

High vibrational Leo energy

The highest vibration of Leo energy is generosity, loyalty, devotion and joyful, creative self-expression. This energy is available to you, but only through attaining higher knowledge and wisdom, which is where Jupiter comes in.

The influence of Jupiter

​Jupiter rules over our belief systems, faith, education, religion, travel and adventure. The square aspect indicates that there is a leap of faith required and a degree of personal challenge to accept and eventually overcome.

Compromise is necessary
