Are the Nodes of the Moon planets?

The Nodes of the Moon are not planets, they are a pair of mathematical points, which are always exactly 180° apart, meaning they always transit a pair of sister signs at any one time.

General information about the Nodes

• They travel backwards through the signs
• They take 18 months to transit a pair of signs 
• It takes about 19 years to do a full orbit through the 6 pairs of sister signs

☊  North Node / Rahu ☊ ​

The North Node is also the known as the "Dragon's Head". It will bring new developments into the House it is transiting in your Natal Birth Chart.
