Mars retrograde in Cancer 29º - 17º: 6th January - 24th February, 2025 Pre-shadow periodAlthough Mars first entered Cancer on 5th September 2024, the official post-shadow period didn't begin until 5th October 2024, which is when Mars in Cancer first reached 17º. All in all, the pre-shadow period ran for approximately 2 months, from 5th October until 5th December in 2024. Post shadow-periodThe post-shadow period will run from 24th February until 4th May in 2025.
