The first full moon of the year will occur in the sign of Cancer at 13º on January 3rd... There's certainly a lot going on with this full moon! Not only is it conjunct the fixed star Sirius, it's also in a wide conjunction with Jupiter. Lastly, the moon and Jupiter are both trining Saturn and Neptune in Pisces while opposing a stellium of planets (Mercury, Venus, the Sun and Mars) in Capricorn. Cancer = Personal LifeCancer rules over our personal life. It's concerned with family/property matters, as well as our sense of security and safety. Ultimately, Cancer represents the people, places and things that are most dear to us that we want to protect at all costs. Capricorn = Public LifeCapricorn, on the other hand, rules over our public life. It represents our most important responsibilities, public reputation and career. Given that this full moon is opposing Venus, Mars and Mercury in Capricorn, it appears that our personal life (ie. what's going on behind closed doors) is somehow being dragged out into the public sphere. To Expose of Be Exposed? What you wanted to keep private may be exposed somehow. For some of you, this may be due to someone else's prodding and probing behaviour (represented by Mars). While others of you may be making a judgement call based on your own personal values, resources and needs (represented by Venus). Divine InterventionIn any case, this is a highly auspicious full moon, as the moon is in domicile in Cancer and Jupiter is exalted here.
Lastly, the fixed star, Sirius, is considered to be our "Spiritual Sun", indicating that divine intervention is very much at play. With the full moon and Jupiter trining Saturn and Neptune, you can rest assured that your Spirit Guides are working (Saturn) overtime to answer your prayers (Neptune)! Big love, Cailin 🌻
